29.2V 15A Waterproof LiFePO4 Battery Charger

Focused on harsh operating conditions such as outdoor rain exposure, humid environments and bumpy transport, we developed this dedicated 29.2V 15A waterproof LiFePO4 battery charger. Custom-tailored for 8S 24V/25.6V lithium iron phosphate batteries, it resolves common pain points of universal chargers including poor compatibility, burnout caused by water ingress outdoors, and excessive heat generation during fast charging. Featuring robust waterproof construction and reliable charging performance, it delivers all-round safe charging for outdoor applications. With a rated output power of 600W, it meets long-term charging demands of various outdoor lithium battery-powered devices.

I. Core Charging Parameters – Optimized for LiFePO4 to Protect Battery Health

This charger operates at a fixed constant voltage of 29.2V and constant current of 15A, exclusively designed for 8-string LiFePO4 batteries. It is not compatible with lead-acid or lithium ternary batteries.
Equipped with a 3-stage intelligent charging algorithm, it completes the full charging cycle: pre-charge activation, constant-current fast charging and constant-voltage float charging. It can revive fully depleted 0V dormant batteries and prevent permanent battery failure.

It supports wide AC input voltage ranging from 95V to 265V, compatible with household mains, construction site power and temporary outdoor power supplies. With a conversion efficiency up to 92%, it maintains low heat generation even under full-load fast charging, balancing charging speed and battery maintenance to extend the cycle life of lithium batteries.

II. Two Waterproof Grades for Full-Scenario Outdoor Use

Chengdian Xinsheng offers two waterproof versions: IP65 and IP67, both fully dust-tight to meet diverse outdoor protection requirements.

• IP65 Standard Version: Resists daily water splashes, heavy rain wash and road spray. Ideal for regular outdoor scenarios including open-air electric vehicle charging, construction sites and rain-shielded RV side mounting, with excellent cost performance.

• IP67 Premium Version: Withstands temporary submersion in 1-meter deep water for up to 30 minutes. It handles extreme harsh environments such as boat water exposure, fully unshielded outdoor placement and muddy off-road conditions, delivering top-tier protection.

Important Notice

Waterproof performance only applies to the charger main unit for both models. The power cord and output plug are not waterproof. Elevate the connectors on rainy days to avoid short circuits caused by accumulated water at terminals.

III. Integrated Sealed Waterproof Structure & Multi-Layer Safety Protections

The charger adopts an integrated die-cast aluminum housing with full-perimeter waterproof silicone gaskets and waterproof plugs fitted on screw holes to block moisture penetration through all housing gaps.

Instead of open heat dissipation design, it combines sealed silent cooling fans with passive aluminum heat dissipation. A breathable membrane blocks moisture, dust and sediment, balancing efficient heat dissipation and reliable waterproofing. In addition, waterproof cable glands and reinforced waterproof output terminals are installed to stop reverse moisture infiltration along wires.

Electrically, it incorporates comprehensive protection mechanisms against overvoltage, overcurrent, reverse polarity, short circuit and overheating. The circuit board is fully potted with waterproof silicone, offering moisture/condensation resistance as well as shock and vibration resistance. It runs stably under vehicle-mounted and bumpy field conditions, compatible with forklifts, sightseeing vehicles, camping energy storage systems, marine onboard batteries and more equipment types.
